Robyn has a highly successful Realtor for more than 25 years utilizing her years of experience with real estate developers to sell high rise luxury residences. Since 2003, she has specialized in the sale of luxury high-rise condominium residences in San Francisco with an emphasis in the new Transbay district including: Rincon Hill, SOMA, South Beach, Yerba Buena and the South Financial District. It is in this dynamic part of the city that Robyn has a proven record of success with over $100M in sales and is ranked within the Top 10 South Beach Agents for 2015-YTD.

Alex Kaufman

Alex Kaufman is a third generation real estate broker with over 10 years experience in San Francisco real estate.  Alex was born in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco in the house his father built. He was raised in the North Bay. He has great adoration for the country and city lifestyles of the Bay Area.

Alex’s extensive experience in rental investments gives him a unique perspective that suits both an investor’s and a seller’s need for accurate forecasting of investment value. Whether a client is buying or selling real estate an agent’s accuracy and diligence are key in a successful transaction.  Alex is a dedicated and persistent broker. His dedication to each of his clients’ specific real estate objectives is integral to their success.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Alex roots for the 49ers, Giants and Warriors. When not working he enjoys dining and socializing at one of the many world class restaurants here in San Francisco.  Trail running through Golden Gate Park is his favorite way to stay fit.  You might bump into him taking a lap around AT&T park during a Giants game or attending a sports car race at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey. He is also a car enthusiast who enjoys participating in track days and autocross events.

Mark McLaughlin

Mark A. McLaughlin is Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Union International, Inc. McLaughlin led the acquisition of Pacific Union in August 2009, and the brand enjoys an exclusive relationship with Christie’s International Real Estate, the premier global organization of residential real estate service firms.

A visionary leader in the real estate industry for more than 20 years, the hallmark of McLaughlin’s successes has consistently been executive team leadership, early adoption of technology applications, open communication and teamwork with keen emphasis on quantitative goals, and exceeding client expectations. He has been highly effective in building dynamic organizations and developing successful business partnerships by establishing clear, measurable objectives for his team and clients. McLaughlin personally directs key strategic initiatives with intense passion and draws on various experiences to achieve elite performance.

Since 2009, McLaughlin has grown Pacific Union from $2.2 billion in total sales volume to $7.63 billion in 2015. In addition, McLaughlin also drove initiatives to develop joint ventures in the mortgage, insurance, and property management service lines to benefit Pacific Union’s clients.

In previous real estate experience, McLaughlin held key management roles with Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) and Colliers International. At Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate advisory firm, McLaughlin was senior director, Corporate Advisory Services Group for the San Francisco region. In this capacity, he was overseeing business unit operations for Valuation, Tenant Representation and Capital Markets Consulting practice groups. McLaughlin grew revenues in every position he managed.

Patrick Barber

Pacific Union International, Inc., President Patrick V. Barber works closely with CEO Mark A. McLaughlin to bring innovative operating practices and renewed market vigor to the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier international luxury real estate brand. He serves on the executive committee of the company and contributes to the strategic direction, long-term planning, and fiscal decision-making processes. Barber joined the Pacific Union team in March 2010 after 12 years at Sotheby’s International Realty. An integral part of Pacific Union, Barber was promoted to president of the company in 2014 after serving as president of the San Francisco region for four years.

Barber’s focus is on strategic growth and operations, agent development, marketing, and community efforts. Passionate about client service, the longtime real estate leader understands firsthand the cyclical challenges of selling real estate in the Bay Area and how to navigate complex transactions. Barber’s ability to find and nurture agent talent has become his hallmark. In 2015, Pacific Union sold more than 5,800 properties totaling more than $7.6 billion, with 675 real estate professionals in 29 Bay Area offices.  Barber also sits on the Operating Committee for the company’s insurance joint venture, Pro Insurance.

A native San Franciscan, Barber brings as much passion to community outreach as to his real estate efforts. He is the past president for the San Francisco Association of Realtors, serves on the executive committee for the California Associate of Realtors, and is vice president of the local Susan G. Komen affiliate. In addition, he is a founder and past president of San Francisco’s Encore and a former associate trustee of the San Francisco Ballet. Over the years, Barber has been a supporter of: the California Academy of Sciences; the Family Arts Circle for the De Young and Legion of Honor museums; a Young Collector for Enterprise for High School Students; and a member the Chairman’s Circle of the SFMOMA, San Francisco Opera’s Bravo, the Asian Art Museum, and the San Francisco Zoo. Additionally, he has served as a charter member of the Bay Area Discovery Museum and was former chairman and president of the Bachelors of San Francisco.

Bryant McOmber

Pacific Union International, Inc. Vice President, Branch Manager Bryant McOmber joined the company as the vice president and manager of its California Street office in August 2004. He previously served as a vice president with Alain Pinel Realtors, where he was responsible for its San Mateo and Half Moon Bay offices.

Following his early years as an Alameda County Deputy District Attorney, McOmber practiced general business litigation in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, and, from 1988, specialized exclusively in real estate and brokerage law, including a lengthy tenure as general counsel for Cornish & Carey Residential Real Estate. He has been a periodic speaker at local and state bar association professional meetings and has conducted numerous legal seminars for large gatherings of real estate brokerage professionals.

Beyond his managerial duties, McOmber serves as legal counsel for PRDS, producer of printed and on-line residential real estate forms that predominate in Peninsula and South Bay real estate markets. He has also advised the California Association of Realtors with respect to its transactional forms. Since 1992, McOmber has taught a full-semester real estate law course at Foothill College required of sales agents who wish to become brokers.

Mercedes Cormier

Mercedes Cormier brings 10 years of real estate marketing and corporate branding experience to Robyn Kaufman’s team. With a degree in Industrial Arts from San Francisco State University, she combines her graphic design skill set with digital marketing strategy and real estate analytics. Mercedes worked under Patrick Barber at Sotheby’s International Realty, where she first learned about San Francisco’s hyper local real estate markets and oversaw creative and branding initiatives for the San Francisco brokerage office. A California native and a natural athlete, Mercedes is an avid surfer who enjoys running with her big puppy Cyrus on Ocean Beach.

Erik Bonner

Erik Bonner is Robyn’s transaction coordinator and resides in the quaint and has been working with Pacific Union for the past 7 years. He lives with his wife, Christina, daughter Ava and rescue pup Riley in the neighborhood of Marinwood. He enjoys volunteering for various school functions and is a passionate member of the community.
