Last week, an agent wrote a strong offer that the seller could not refuse. This condo, located on the first floor of a high rise condo building, sold for over asking with a cash offer and zero contingencies. And in only 10 days!
This sale is a great example of the powerful marketing tools that Compass provides for our clients. Although there was about a month of home improvement work to be done at this condo, we were able to pre-market this listing with Compass Coming Soon and Compass Workplace. These online pre-marketing opportunities are only visible internally within the Compass agent community until the property is ready to go live in an open market. In this case, a Compass agent had a client looking to buy specifically at The Metropolitan. Since his clients knew the building and wanted to live there, they wrote their winning offer coincidentally after the interior painting and deep cleaning was completed, but before the staging went in. This means that the buyer was able to move into a turnkey unit while the seller saved on staging costs. It was a win-win for everyone!
