Outdoor Activities in South Beach
There are several outdoor recreational activities in South Beach, that of which strikes a unique balance between city and outdoor living. Attend a baseball game at ATT Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, about a 15 minute walk away. Jog on the Embarcadero along the waterfront, piers and continue underneath the Bay Bridge. There is a great 3.5 mile loop from the ball park to the Ferry Building. Rent a ocean kayak and paddle around the Bay, especially during a Giants game. If you happen to be a sailor, world class sailing is in the San Francisco Bay and you can apply a slip for your boat in the South Beach Harbor.

South Beach’s Construction Boom
Once an booming warehouse district during San Francisco’s maritime industry, the South Beach area is now part of another construction boom with new office buildings and residential towers currently underway. Notable buildings projects nearby include the impressive Salesforce Tower, a commercial building that will be the tallest building on the West Coast. 181 Fremont is another extremely gorgeous high-rise that will offer mostly Class A+ commercial space with the top floors reserved for luxury condominiums.
