Development Projects Around Yerba Buena
Parts of Yerba Buena are undergoing massive revitalization, with the current construction of the highly anticipated Salesforce Tower nearby. It is part of the major development of The Transbay Center, a large undertaking that weaves together all of San Francisco’s Downtown neighborhoods. This project will offer unique outdoor opportunities, including a rooftop 5 acre park over a quarter mile long accessible to neighborhood residents and visitors. A $4.75 million grant has been commissioned to the San Francisco Arts Commission as an opportunity to beautify the neighborhood. It will fund the installation of public art and alongside newly developed Transbay Center and the surrounding immediate area.
